2 Killed in Chino Plane Crash

CHINO, Calif., June 15 (KNN) — Two people aboard a twin-engine plane were killed in a crash at the Chino Airport Saturday afternoon.

Chino police officers and Chino Valley Fire Department personnel responded to a plane crash shortly after 12:30 p.m. at 7000 Merrill Avenue, which is located at the end of a runway at the Chino airport.

Once firefighters arrived at the scene, they located a twin-engine plane with fire showing from the front. Multiple sources are reporting two people aboard were killed in the crash. 

The FAA was on the scene and taking over the investigation into the plane crash.
