HOLLYWOOD HILLS, LOS ANGELES, June 25 (KNN) — Firefighters battled a fire in an area of brush near Mount Sinai Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills overnight.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to a brush fire shortly before 1:30 a.m. in the 5200 block of Forest Lawn Drive.
Upon arrival, firefighters found multiple patches of brush on fire, about a half an acre in size. The LAFD used hose lines and air operations to extinguish the flames.
Firefighters initially had a difficult time locating where to attack the flames, but once they determined the location, the fire was quickly knocked down.
