ARCADIA, Calif., June 29 (KNN) — A driver suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol crashed his vehicle into a 7-Eleven convenience store late Friday night.
The crash occurred shortly after 10:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of South Baldwin Avenue in the city of Arcadia.
The driver of a Toyota Prius that was found inside the damaged store, was arrested at the scene by Arcadia police officers for suspected DUI.
Two people were transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries. It was unclear if the injured were employees or customers.
One neighbor who lives down the street from the 7-Eleven, declined an on camera interview but told KNN that this is the second time this has happened at the same location.
