Burn Victim Found at Vehicle Fire in Los Angeles

HISTORIC SOUTH-CENTRAL LOS ANGELES, Sept. 8 (KNN) — Firefighters found a burn victim at the location of a vehicle fire on a street in Historic South-Central Los Angeles late Sunday night.

Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to reports of an auto fire in the 1100 block of East 24th Street shortly after 11:30 p.m.

When crews arrived at the scene, they located a fully engulfed SUV as well as a man suffering from burns to his right arm.

Firefighters extinguished the flames in just a few minutes, and the LAFD transported the injured man to a local hospital. The condition of the 40-year-old man is not known, according to the LAFD.

The cause of the fire and the man’s association with the burned SUV are currently unknown.
