Investigation Underway Into Shooting Near Apartment Complex in Santa Clarita

SANTA CLARITA, Calif., Sept. 23 (KNN) — Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies are investigating a shooting outside an apartment complex in the city of Santa Clarita’s Canyon Country neighborhood.

The incident was reported shortly before 11:30 p.m. near the intersection of Jakes Way and Rock Rose Lane outside the Park Sierra Apartments.

It’s unclear if anyone was struck by gunfire at this time, but local hospitals are on alert as deputies focus on shell casings found at the scene.
