UNIVERSITY PARK, LOS ANGELES, Oct. 1 (KKN) — A homicide investigation is underway into the stabbing death of a man found by firefighters in the University Park neighborhood of Los Angeles early Tuesday morning.
The Los Angeles Police Department’s Southwest Area patrol officers responded to a radio call from the Los Angeles Fire Department regarding a suspicious death at Washington Boulevard and Oak Street at 2:45 a.m., according to the LAPD.
Arriving officers observed a 40-year-old male suffering from multiple stab wounds, according to Officer Drake Madison, a spokesperson for the LAPD. The LAFD pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
There is no suspect information at this time. It is unknown if this incident is gang-related.
