PACOIMA, LOS ANGELES, Oct. 5 (KNN) — Firefighters tackled flames consuming five vehicles ignited during a street takeover in Pacoima early Saturday morning.
Los Angeles Police Department Foothill Division officers responded to a multi-vehicle fire at a street takeover at Paxton Street and Foothill Boulevard shortly after 4:30 a.m.
Officers cleared the takeover with a significant response of units. The LAPD requested that Los Angeles Fire Department personnel not enter the area until it was deemed safe.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames with one engine. One vehicle was found abandoned with smashed windows and no wheels.
No injuries were reported, and all suspects fled the scene. This street takeover is possibly related to the Sepulveda Basin incident, where a burning vehicle was found after a street takeover.
All vehicles involved in these fires are Infiniti sedans and coupes.
