HOLLYWOOD HILLS WEST, LOS ANGELES, Oct. 9 (KNN) — The driver of a Porsche sports car with two passengers were rescued by Los Angeles Fire Department personnel after crashing down steep hillside terrain in the Hollywood Hills early Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred shortly after 3 a.m. in the 8500 block of West Mulholland Drive at the Mulholland Scenic Overlook. The Porsche, traveling westbound, lost control and crashed through a guardrail approximately 50 feet off the roadway.
Firefighters and Urban Search & Rescue crews used ropes and pulleys to assist the occupants out of the vehicle after an extended rescue operation.
LAFD paramedics evaluated the male driver and two female passengers, who were all released at the scene.
