Vacant Craftsman-Style Home Burns in East Hollywood

EAST HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES, Oct. 11 (KNN) — Firefighters doused the flames consuming a vacant home in East Hollywood early Friday morning.

Los Angeles Fire Department crews were dispatched to the 4800 block of Melrose Avenue shortly after 1:30 a.m., where a craftsman-style home was well-involved in a fire, reported the LAFD.

The firefight began in defensive mode, with 50 firefighters extinguishing the flames in 39 minutes. No injuries were reported.

The vacant home was reportedly the site of a previous burn.
