Food Truck Burns Amid Iconic Los Angeles Skyline View

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, Oct. 23 (KNN) — Early Wednesday morning, a food truck engulfed in flames sent black billowy smoke skyward against the backdrop of an iconic view of Downtown Los Angeles.

A burning vehicle was reported shortly after 3 a.m. on the 3rd Street on-ramp to the southbound 110 Freeway, prompting the Los Angeles Fire Department to respond to the location.

When crews arrived, they located a food truck fully engulfed in flames.

Firefighters extinguished the flames in just a few minutes. It appeared the food truck driver may have been treated for burns at the scene, but that has not been confirmed. His condition is unknown at this time. However, he was observed standing and talking to firefighters.

The cause of the fire is also currently unknown.
