SANTA CLARITA, Calif., Nov. 4 (KNN) — Five people were sent to the hospital after a violent wreck involving two vehicles and a street light in Santa Clarita’s Newhall neighborhood Sunday evening.
The incident occurred shortly before 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Lyons Avenue and Fourl Road outside an ARCO fueling station.
Two SUVs collided, sending one into a concrete and rebar street light.
Five people were injured in the crash, which medically precipitated three ambulances, a paramedic squad and two fire engine companies.
Those injured in the crash were taken to a local hospital in unknown conditions.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
