SOUTH LOS ANGELES, Nov. 4 (KNN) — A pedestrian was struck and killed in a traffic collision involving two vehicles in the Vermont Square neighborhood of South Los Angeles late Sunday night.
At approximately 11:43 p.m., Los Angeles Police Department Southwest Division officers and fire department personnel responded to reports of a two-vehicle crash involving a pedestrian at the intersection of West 41st Place and Western Avenue.
When first responders arrived at the scene, they located the two vehicles and the pedestrian down on the road. LAFD paramedics pronounced the pedestrian deceased.
The drivers of the vehicles were uninjured and remained at the scene, cooperating with police.
