BOYLE HEIGHTS, LOS ANGELES, Nov. 15 (KNN) – Two vehicles violently collided at a Boyle Heights intersection late Thursday evening, leaving a driver deceased and two teenage males hospitalized.
The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the intersection of 4th and Fresno streets for reports of a two-vehicle crash shortly after 9 p.m. Thursday.
When crews arrived on the scene, they located both vehicles with two critical patients and a third trapped.
LAFD paramedics pronounced the trapped victim deceased at the scene, and two critical patients were transported to a trauma center. The patients were occupants of the second vehicle and were reported to be teenage males – one 18, the other a 17-year-old.
The cause of the fatal crash is under investigation.
