Fatal Vehicle vs Pedestrian Collision Stops Traffic on 60 Freeway in Boyle Heights

BOYLE HEIGHTS, LOS ANGELES, Nov. 21 (KNN) — A fatal collision involving a pedestrian on a freeway in the Boyle Heights area of Los Angeles impacted traffic late Wednesday night.

A pedestrian was struck shortly after 10 p.m. on the eastbound 60 Freeway at Indiana Street and discovered deceased by responding California Highway Patrol officers.

All eastbound lanes were stopped, and traffic was diverted off the freeway at Lorena Street.

The CHP East Los Angeles Area office is investigating the pedestrian fatality.

The identity of the deceased was not released at the time of the incident.
