BALDWIN PARK, Calif., Nov. 23 (KNN) — A high-speed vehicle pursuit ended when the suspect slammed into cars at an auto repair shop in Baldwin Park early Saturday morning.
The California Highway Patrol attempted to pull over a red vehicle at 3 a.m. for speeding westbound on the 10 Freeway at Azusa Avenue in the city of West Covina.
The suspect fled during a traffic stop and led CHP officers on a high-speed pursuit. The suspect attempted to exit at Frazier Street from the westbound 10 Freeway and crashed into multiple vehicles inside an auto repair shop, flipping one truck on its roof in the 13000 block of Frazier Street in the city of Baldwin Park.
The suspect managed to exit the vehicle, was taken into custody by CHP and assessed by firefighters and paramedics but was not transported.
The suspect vehicle just missed crashing into an apartment complex next to the auto repair shop.
