SUV Flies off 15 Freeway, Lands Down Hillside in Ontario

ONTARIO, Calif., Dec. 7 (KNN) — A vehicle flew off the 15 Freeway in Ontario early Saturday morning and landed down a hillside by a street.

California Highway Patrol officers from the Rancho Cucamonga Station and Ontario Fire Department personnel responded to a vehicle that flew off the southbound 15 Freeway at Airport Drive and landed down a hillside next to a roadway shortly after 2:30 a.m.

Firefighters and CHP officers accessed the vehicle on South Rochester Avenue and Airport Drive, located below the freeway.

One person was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries. It is unclear at this time why the vehicle came off the freeway.
