Suspects Fire Shots at Resident in Santa Clarita Apartment Complex

SANTA CLARITA, Calif., Dec. 9 (KNN) — A suspected gunman opened fire on a resident inside a Santa Clarita apartment complex at approximately 11 p.m. Sunday.

The incident occurred in the 23600 block of Meadowridge Drive in the Newhall community of Santa Clarita.

Upon arrival, deputies found several shell casings in a communal driveway.

The victim said the suspects fired shots at him and punched him in the face before fleeing the scene in a white Kia sedan or SUV.

Sheriff’s deputies were still searching for four suspects as of 12:40 a.m.

Details pertaining to how many people fired shots, if multiple people were armed, or if anyone was struck were not available at the time of this report.
