TOLUCA LAKE, LOS ANGELES, Dec. 20 (KNN) — Los Angeles police officers responded to a Toluca Lake residence in the 4400 block of Clybourn Avenue around 8:42 p.m. Thursday for a reported burglary with shots fired, according to the LAPD.
Officer Madison, a spokesperson for the LAPD, told KNN that the resident heard the break-in and ran to a home in Burbank to call police, stating glass was heard breaking, then gunshots.
Arriving officers immediately established a perimeter at the residence and entered the home. They ultimately cleared the house, not finding any suspects.
It was determined they fled the location upon the arrival of police and that there was a burglary attempt on an occupied home.
LAPD officers took a burglary report from the resident. It is unknown if anything was stolen.
