ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, LOS ANGELES, Dec. 21 (KNN) — A two-vehicle traffic collision in Arlington Heights late Thursday night left a driver trapped.
The collision occurred around 10:20 p.m. at Arlington Avenue and Washington Boulevard, where a female was found trapped by first responders in the driver’s seat of her Honda.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel requested additional resources for the scene, and Los Angeles Police Department officers also responded.
Firefighters managed to cut the door off the car to remove the trapped driver, who was then transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
The condition of the occupant(s) of the other vehicle involved is unknown at this time.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
