Multi-Vehicle Violent Crash in Covina Leaves at Least 1 Hospitalized

COVINA, Calif., Dec. 31 (KNN) — A violent, multi-vehicle crash late Monday night left people trapped and at least one person hospitalized.

The Covina Police Department and the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a multi-vehicle traffic collision with people trapped at East Cypress Street and North Barranca Street in the city of Covina.

One person was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries. It is unclear at this time if any other victims were transported. A total of four to five vehicles were damaged during the violent crash.

Per neighbors and witnesses, the red pickup truck ran the red light and crashed into multiple vehicles.

There were no further details at the time of the crash.
