New Year’s Street Takeover in South Los Angeles

VERMONT VISTA, LOS ANGELES, Jan. 1 (KNN) — Spectators gathered at the intersection of Imperial Highway and Hoover Street in the Vermont Vista neighborhood of South Los Angeles to take part in watching and participating in illegal street takeovers just after midnight.

Participants used fireworks as they watched vehicles do donuts in the smokey intersection.
