PERRIS, Calif., Feb. 4 (KNN) — Protesters against President Trump’s planned deportations of illegal immigrants by ICE gathered at a Perris intersection late Monday evening, prompting authorities to deem the protest unlawful.
At around 7:30 p.m., the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, along with the California Highway Patrol, deemed an ongoing protest at the intersection of Perris and Nuevo Roads as unlawful.
Immediately after being declared unlawful, protestors began throwing bottles and rocks and pushing shopping carts at deputies.
