Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Multiple Vehicles on Freeway in Alhambra

ALHAMBRA, Calif., Jan. 30 (KNN) – CHP East Los Angeles units responded to a report of a pedestrian walking in lanes of traffic on the eastbound 10 and 710 Freeway shortly after 11 p.m. Wednesday.

While officers were en route, they were advised the pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle and went flying into the air.

Officers arrived to find a male pedestrian lying in the number 3 and 4 lanes of the eastbound 10 just east of the 710 Freeway.

The pedestrian had been struck by multiple vehicles. Several vehicles were observed on the right shoulder with their hazard lights on; it is unclear if they were involved or witnesses.

The pedestrian was declared deceased at the scene.
