Vehicle Slams Into Cocktail Bar in Los Feliz, Female Injured

LOS FELIZ, LOS ANGELES, Feb.13 (KNN) – A woman was injured when a vehicle slammed into a bar in Los Feliz late Thursday night.

Los Angeles Fire Department personnel and Los Angeles Police Department’s Northeast Division officers responded to The Friend cocktail bar located in the 2600 block of North Hyperion Avenue for reports of a traffic collision shortly after 10:30 p.m.

When first responders arrived on the scene, they found the front end of an SUV inside the establishment. A female, who was in the building at the time of impact, was transported with unknown injuries to the hospital by LAFD paramedics.

The driver was not injured, remained at the scene and cooperated with officers.

According to witness Stephanie Ferrer, the driver appeared to have lost control before crashing into the bar.

The incident is under investigation.
