Freeway Collision Involves Pickup Truck Hauling Trailer on Its Side

Newhall, Los Angeles County, CA: California Highway Patrol from Newhall responded to the scene of a solo traffic collision involving a white pickup truck hauling a trailer on its side around 8:50 p.m. Sunday, May 1, 2022.

A witness who called 911 reported a driver traveling northbound at Newhall Avenue who lost control of their trailer that landed on its side due to erratic driving.

The pickup truck took down a metal post and yellow sign reading “right lane ends here.”

CHP issued a SigAlert for the #3 and #4 lanes for an hour.
