Firefighters Extinguish Attic Engulfed in Flames, Paramedics Treat Residents

Lancaster, Los Angeles County, CA: Firefighters and paramedics responded to an attic fire in a Lancaster home on Sunday, May 1, 2022.

Los Angeles County Fire Department received a 911 call at approximately 9:37 p.m. regarding an attic fire at a residential house located on the 3100 block of West Louise Avenue.

Firefighters from numerous stations responded to the scene and discovered an upper attic fully engulfed in flames. The fire was quickly extinguished by responding crews.

Paramedics treated a couple of residents on the scene, however no one was transported to a hospital. Lancaster deputies also responded to the location to help with evacuations and crowd control.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. There are no further details available.
