Vehicle Slams into Palmdale Chicken Restaurant, Ignites Fire

Palmdale, Los Angeles County, CA: A vehicle crashed into a Palmdale family chicken restaurant late Sunday night, May 1, prompting a response from deputies and firefighters.

At approximately 11:23 p.m., Palmdale Sheriff’s deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to a traffic collision at the intersection of Palmdale Boulevard and Town Square in the city of Palmdale.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered a Honda Civic had crashed into a family chicken restaurant. Los Angeles County firefighters responded to the scene and extinguished a small fire that had erupted.

Firefighters demolished a part of the building column to ensure the fire was completely extinguished. The occupants of the vehicle remained on the scene and were uninjured in the accident.

The cause of the collision is unknown at this time.
