Minivan Crashes Into Apartment Building After Colliding With Another Vehicle

GREEN MEADOWS, LOS ANGELES, Calif.– Two vehicles collided early Saturday morning, sending a minivan into an apartment building in the Green Meadows neighborhood.

The traffic collision occurred at approximately 2:24 a.m. involving a Honda Civic and a minivan in the 8800 block of South Central Avenue near the intersection of South Central Avenue and East 88th Place.

The minivan subsequently crashed into an apartment building, compromising the staircase to a second-story unit.

The Los Angeles Fire Department evaluated one patient at the scene; however, no other injuries were reported.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s South Traffic Division is investigating the incident.
