Gray Whale Washes Ashore in Huntington Beach

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif., Apr. 12 (KNN) — A deceased gray whale washed ashore at Huntington City Beach Friday afternoon.

The cause of death is unknown, and the Pacific Marine Mammal Center is set to investigate. The Huntington Beach Fire Department is on the scene, monitoring the carcass.

Once the investigation into the cause of death is complete, the carcass will likely be towed back out to sea.
