The California Highway Patrol first reported the incident around 1:10 a.m., stating that a gray Honda Civic had crashed into an embankment, resulting in the vehicle overturning.

Emergency services were dispatched, and it was confirmed that none of the four occupants were injured. The vehicle was found on its wheels on the embankment against the guardrail.

The driver, a male in his 30s, was detained as officers conducted field sobriety tests. He was found to be above the legal alcohol limit and was placed under arrest.

Responding units worked to clear the roadway, opening one lane while blocking the others. By 1:24 a.m., a tow service, American Eagle Tow, was contacted with an estimated 20-minute arrival time.

Traffic conditions were severely affected, and all lanes were initially blocked. However, by 2:39 a.m., the roadway was cleared, and the vehicle was removed from the scene.
