WESTLAKE, LOS ANGELES, Apr. 14 (KNN) — Los Angeles Police Department’s Rampart Division officers responded to a report of a stabbing victim in the Westlake neighborhood early Monday morning.

Units arrived at the scene, located in the 700 block of South Westlake Avenue, near the intersection of West 7th Street and South Westlake Avenue, and discovered two additional victims, according to initial reports. The incident stemmed from an attempted robbery, an LAPD spokesperson told Key News Network.
The Los Angeles Fire Department reported a total of three patients, one of whom is an approximately 20-year-old male.
All victims were transported to the hospital in stable conditions, according to the LAPD.
The LAPD spokesperson also said that the three suspects – one female and two males – fled the scene in a black sedan.
There was no additional information.
