1 Injured in Vehicle Rollover Crash on the 14 Freeway

Newhall, Los Angeles County, CA: A driver was injured in a rollover crash on the 14 Freeway Tuesday, May 10, around 1:20 p.m. Bystanders rescued the driver from the vehicle and one of them told the Key News Network photojournalist at the scene that the driver is pregnant.

California Highway Patrol and paramedics arrived at the location, treated the patient and then transported her by ambulance to a local hospital.

The same bystander also mentioned he was behind the vehicle traveling Northbound 14 at Newhall Avenue and saw the victim driving at high speeds. He said the vehicle made contact with a big rig who was driving in the slow lane in which they merged and made her veer off to the dirt road on the right shoulder and roll over a couple of times.

The driver of the semi truck stopped to provide CHP with a statement.
