Vehicle Crash Sends Parked Chevy Suburban onto Curb in Hollywood Hills

Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, CA: A Cadillac sedan collided with a parked, unoccupied Chevy Suburban on the 8700 block of Wonderland Avenue in the Laurel Canyon neighborhood of the Hollywood Hills around 11:20 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2022.

The force of the crash deployed airbags in the Cadillac and pushed the Suburban onto the curb and into what appeared to be a low stone wall. The collision completely blocked the narrow canyon roadway.

Los Angeles Fire Department along with Los Angeles Police officers responded to the scene of the reported crash. Firefighter/paramedics were seen assessing one female who was sitting on the curb off to the side of the damaged Cadillac. The female was not transported by ambulance.

It was unclear how many occupants were in the vehicle at the time of the collision. Another person was seen sitting on the ground barefoot by the drivers side open door, but it was unclear if he was the driver.

The part of the road where the collision occurred was a straight section of mostly curvy roadway. The street was cleared by around 2:00 a.m. Friday, June 3.

The owner of the Chevy Suburban had recently moved into the neighborhood.
