Long Beach, Los Angeles County, CA: Two victims were found shot Friday night, June 3, when Long Beach Police Department officers and firefighters responded to a report of a shooting just around 10:56 p.m. on the 1600 east block of 14th Street in the city of Long Beach.
One male victim was located with a gunshot wound to the head in the alley on 14th Street, and one female victim was found with a gunshot wound to the leg on Walnut Street just west of the alleyway. Both victims were transported by ambulance to a local hospital with the male victim in critical condition, and the female in stable condition.
The suspects fled on foot and were nowhere to be found. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unknown at this time. Long Beach Police Department is handling the investigation.
