Newhall, Los Angeles County, CA: Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies from Newhall were dispatched around 11:38 a.m. Saturday, June 4, to the 23700 block of Valle Del Oro in the Newhall community of the city of Santa Clarita for a reported subject threatening someone with a gun.

Deputies initially had the wrong address, ordering the resident out of her unit. The address where the subject resided was a building next to where the female resident was ordered to step out.

Deputies located the subject and placed him in handcuffs around 20 minutes after they gave orders to surrender.

LASD was investigating the accusations and it is unknown at this time if the subject was taken into custody.
