3 Vehicles Involved in West Hills Traffic Collision

West Hills, Los Angeles, CA: The Los Angeles Police Department Topanga Division officers were at the scene of a multi-vehicle collision around 12:08 p.m. Saturday, June 4, at the intersection of Platt Avenue and Victory Boulevard in the West Hills neighborhood of the San Fernando Valley.

The traffic collision involved a white BMW, SUV Toyota 4Runner and a Land Rover. One driver was complaining of knee pain but declined to be transported by ambulance to a hospital.

Per witnesses in the area, the driver of the white BMW was the vehicle which caused the collision sending the 4Runner on its roof and impacting the black Land Rover.

Debris was cleared from the street by Los Angeles Fire Department crews for drivers traveling north on Platt. Motor oil, antifreeze and fuel were observed on the surface of the street.

Southbound lanes were closed due to the collision until vehicles were removed.
