Santa Clarita, Los Angeles County, CA: A brush fire broke out on Bouquet Canyon between Soledad Canyon and Cinema Drive in the city of Santa Clarita around 4:59 p.m. Thursday, June 9, 2022. The fire reached a quarter acre in size.

According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, one property was threatened but they were able to handle the fire before it burned near a structure. Forward progress was stopped at around 5:11 p.m.

Sheriff’s deputies had closed down northbound traffic from Cinema Drive to Soledad while firefighters handled the fire.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
