Los Angeles, CA: Protestors condemning the overturning of Roe V. Wade abortion rights by the Supreme Court on Friday, June 24, gathered at 5:00 p.m. at Pershing Square in Downtown Los Angeles.

The protest quickly escalated into a Los Angeles Police Department tactical situation as protesters took to the freeways and surface streets blocking traffic and emergency vehicles.

LAPD declared a dispersal order and arrested those that failed to disperse. It was not immediately known how many people were taken into custody.
