Vehicle Crashes into Restaurant, Multiple People Injured

Kent, WA: On Friday, July 8, an SUV crashed into the Cat Sang restaurant injuring a total of three people at the scene.

At approximately 1:00 p.m., 911 calls were received for a vehicle into a building, with occupants inside the vehicle and a possible bystander with injuries.

Upon arrival, first responders found an SUV partially into the the Cat Sang noodle soup bar in the 20500 block of 108th Street in the city of Kent. Two occupants were still in the vehicle unable to extricate and a bystander sustained minor injuries. Puget Sound Fire crews were able to extricate the occupants from the vehicle. All three were transported by ambulance to a local hospital with minor injuries.

A City of Kent building inspector was called out to assess the building. The restaurant will be closed until crews can clean up and secure the business.

Police were on the scene investigating the collision.
