Child Airlifted to Hospital After Motorcycle Collision with Vehicle in Lancaster

Lancaster, Los Angeles County, CA: A motorcycle collided with a vehicle Friday evening, July 15, in the city of Lancaster leaving one adult hospitalized and a child airlifted to Children’s Hospital.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and Los Angeles County firefighters responded to a report of a traffic collision around 7:12 p.m. at the intersection of 30th Street West and Avenue L where Lancaster deputies discovered a motorcycle had collided with a vehicle.

The motorcycle had two riders – one adult and one child. Paramedics from Station 134 treated the adult at the scene and transported the patient to a local hospital with unknown injuries. The child (age unknown) was airlifted from Fire Station 129 to Children’s Hospital in unknown condition as well.

The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene and did not appear injured. Lancaster Deputies closed the street in both directions to investigate the crash.
