LAPD Shuts Down Brand New Sixth Street Bridge Again

Los Angeles, CA: The Los Angeles Police Department shut down the Los Angeles Sixth Street Viaduct Bridge once again due to vehicle burnouts making the intersections a hazard for bicyclists, pedestrians and other drivers.

LAPD closed the bridge on Saturday, July 23, around 11:00 p.m. for pedestrians and from other drivers for an unknown duration of time. As seen on Key News Network video from the location, about 200 scooter riders did not obey LAPD commands as they went through the bridge riding back and forth.

Per parking enforcement, they mentioned the intersection will be closed until 3:00 a.m. Sunday, but LAPD did not confirm.
