Suspects Crash Stolen Vehicle Ending Pursuit

Los Angeles, CA: Beverly Hills Police Department officers were in pursuit of a stolen vehicle after it fled from a felony traffic stop in Beverly Hills on Thursday night, Aug. 25.

The pursuit terminated when the suspects crashed the stolen vehicle at Santa Monica Boulevard and Ensley Avenue in the Westwood neighborhood of Los Angeles around 10:20 p.m.

BHPD requested backup from the Los Angeles Police Department in West Los Angeles. The scene of the crash was shut down as a police K9 unit responded to search for additional suspects. It was initially reported that there were three suspects. At least one was taken into custody at the scene.

Beverly Hills Fire Department paramedics also responded to the location and was seen treating someone in handcuffs.
