Kent, WA: A fire inside an apartment building was reported around 1:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, on the 2700 block of South 258th Place in the city of Kent.

Upon arrival, fire department crews found heavy smoke coming from two units and flames from inside. Puget Sound Fire Battalion Chief upgraded the response to “working fire” and Kent Police Department helped with traffic.

The fire caused extensive damage. No further details were available.
