Rosemead, Los Angeles County, CA: A burning vehicle on the 10 Freeway early Tuesday morning backed up traffic for miles.

California Highway Patrol officers responded to a vehicle fire on the 10 West Freeway at Walnut Grove Avenue in the city of Rosemead around 3:45 a.m., Feb. 22, 2022. The front end of the vehicle was fully involved in flames that extended onto the ground.

CHP shut down all freeway lanes as Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded to the scene to extinguish the flames. The right two lanes remained closed for cleanup.

Information regarding the driver is not known at this time.
