San Diego Limo Bus Pursuit Ends in L.A. County Traffic Collision

Antelope Valley, Los Angeles County, CA: A California Highway Patrol pursuit of a stolen limo bus in San Diego County ended in a traffic collision in the Antelope Valley area of northern Los Angeles County on Tuesday, Feb. 22, with the suspect surrendering.

A limo bus allegedly stolen by a woman in the San Diego area prompted a pursuit that led CHP units onto the Northbound 405 Freeway, into Los Angeles County and onto the Northbound 14 Freeway.

The bus exited at Pearblossom Highway and continued north to the intersection of Small Road and Pearblossom Highway where the bus collided with another motorist in a silver sedan, sending the car into the opposite lanes of traffic before it came to a stop. The driver of the sedan was treated by paramedics at the scene but was transported by AMR ambulance to be assessed at a local hospital.

The unidentified female suspect exited the bus a short time later and was taken into custody at gunpoint at the scene around 12:40 p.m. There were no passengers in the bus.
