Man Found Injured on Sidewalk in Lancaster

Lancaster, Los Angeles County, CA: A man was found injured lying on a sidewalk in a residential neighborhood in the city of Lancaster Friday night.

At approximately 9:39 p.m., Sept. 30, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department received a 911 call from a passerby regarding a possible stabbing in the area of the 300 block of Kildare Street.

Upon arrival, Lancaster deputies discovered a man lying on the sidewalk with injury to the face. Firefighters and paramedics from Station 33 responded to the scene and transported the victim who was observed in and out of consciousness to the local hospital.

Approximately 15 minutes later, an alleged suspect was briefly detained one house over from where the victim was found. It was unclear how the person was involved in the incident regarding the man.

Key News Network contacted the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station regarding the incident. Currently, KNN was told the victim suffered an unspecified facial injury, not a stabbing, and that the incident was a domestic situation.
