Whittier, Los Angeles County, CA: Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Pico Rivera Station deputies caught two suspects in the middle of an armed robbery at a 7-Eleven convenience store on the 8200 block of Norwalk Boulevard and Broadway Avenue around 10:20 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, in the city of Whittier.
Sheriff’s deputies took two suspects into custody with a gun and money found on the suspects.
Deputies were able to locate the suspect’s getaway vehicle parked down the street on Norwalk Boulevard.
Earlier, deputies had received a 911 call sometime after 9:30 p.m. of an armed robbery at a 7-Eleven on the 9000 block of Gallatin Road in the city of Pico Rivera.
The suspects who were taken into custody at the second 7-Eleven on Norwalk Boulevard in the city of Whittier are related to the first robbery in Pico Rivera.
There were no reported injuries and it was unclear if there were any customers in both locations at the time the suspects entered the stores.
