Lancaster, Los Angeles County, CA: A group of friends were lured to a party hoax via text message where they were met by suspects at a location who opened fire striking a victim early Tuesday morning, Nov. 1, in the city of Lancaster.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 2500 block of East Avenue J2 for reports of shots fired.

Upon arrival, deputies were unable to locate the victim but did locate a witness that stated the victim had been taken to a local area hospital by friends and the suspects fled the scene in a white sedan.

The witness also stated that they were lured to the scene by text message and told there was a party going on.

When the victims arrived on scene, they were met by the suspects who opened fire with an AR-15 rifle and struck one of the victims.

Deputies were on the scene of the active crime scene.
