Female Transported to Hospital for Smoke Inhalation

Downey, Los Angeles County, CA: Downey Fire and Police Department responded to a residential fire at 11:25 p.m., Nov. 1, on the 8200 block of Puritan Avenue in the city of Downey where one patient was located outside on the ground with no fire showing from the residence, just smoke.

The fire department transported the patient to a local hospital for further evaluation.

The cause of the fire is unkown at this time.
