Street Race Bystanders Attack LAPD Vehicles

San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, CA: Los Angeles Police Department vehicles were attacked by street race bystanders as units responded to multiple calls regarding street racers in the San Fernando Valley on Sunday, Feb. 27, between 9:00 p.m. to around midnight.

Key News Network video from the scene shows cars doing donuts in an intersection as traffic was blocked and stopped in all directions. Video also captured bystanders throwing rocks and bottles at police vehicles. One person broke the back glass of one of the vehicles.

At the location of Saticoy and Bellaire, one person was given a violation. LAPD Street Racing Task Force was at the location.
